Mod Name

Ok so we need a name for the mod.
Lets just keep throwing names out even silly ones which might trigger a proper one lol

• BHD:Xtreme Mod
  
• DF:ALS (Air Land Sea) Mod
  
• DF Combined Mod
  
• BHD:TSC (Combined) Mod
  
• BHD Ultra Mod
  

Not much of a start but lets get it going...

I sorta like the DF Xtreme Mod myself, then give a in-depth description of what it consist of.

Yeah, damn Novalogic, DF Xtreme is the right name for my mod, they stole it from me.  Jokes aside, hopw about "Delta Force Reloaded"? Sounds simple and nice.
Or, if we manage to convert Joint Ops weapons and items, "Delta Force Joint Ops".

By reading the specifics of that game, DF Reloaded is indeed DF Xtreme, 3 campaigns, roughly 20 missions, but it was postponed and later reworked. As a name it is rather good I think, not that long as Delta Force Joint Ops would be. (Delta Force Black Hawk Down Team Sabre is one of the longest I've ever seen)

How about, "Delta Force Fallen Angel". Just joking guys.

If ya want something short how about BHD-2 Mod.

How about "The works mod"   The  BDHD ultra mod sounds good also.. B.U.M

For now guys I think that I'll stick with Delta Force Reloaded, sounds simple and explains what this mod is all about; most of the stuff of the Delta Force games by Novalogic under the same game engine, with exclusive content, etc.

I think that if you go with "Delta Force Reloaded," a lot of players are going to end up at the www.dfreload.com forums, get all confused, and just explode, 'cause that's what internet users do. Do we really want that blood on our hands?

So, let me do some spitballing...

This is a DFBHD mod. If you stick with those five letters, no one will get confused about which game the mod's for. Yes, "BHD" alone is fine within the NeverLogic community, but you'll get confused movie fans with weak google-fu drifting in and getting angry, and there are a lot of games with "Black Hawk Down" mods, and not just a few with "Delta Force" mods. But DFBHD seems specific enough to keep out the chaff, in my opinion.

And I get the impression that you're attempting to mix in a lot of assets from other NeverLogic games. Consolidating the good, fun stuff.

I suggest "Delta Force Black Hawk Down: Task Force Unity."

It's long, but at this stage of its life, all the good, short DFBHD mod names are taken.

If you google "Delta Force Black Hawk Down: Task Force Unity" or "DFBHD:TFU," nothing really comes up, and if that's what you name the mod, it'll fill those empty hits in the future.

I think DFBHD:TFU stands out. And I just noticed that if you go with "Delta Force Black Hawk Down: Special Task Force Unity" or "DFBHD:STFU," the lulz will be strong.

I might be over-thinking all this, but I either fill time mulling this over, or I actually head to the kitchen and start prepping for dinner tonight. There's a pot I have to scrub, you see...

Yeah, I'll rethink the name of the mod, but I want to take care of the BHD thing. I don't care if people gets confused initially, after all I don't remember that the great NSO mod was called DFBHD: NSO. So following your advice, I'd call it something like "Delta Force: Joint Ops" (but then people might get confused with the Joint Ops thing, but my mod as of now includes JO terrains and more). I'm not sure at all, I still have time to think about it.

If you guys want to share your ideas, bear in mind that I want the mod name to be short, as I suggested.

Sound's like you need to go with the DF Combined Mod that cover's all the DF game's.

I've had another idea for the mod's name, although it ain't that special; 
"Delta Force: Open Battle"

Moreover, I just want to add that recently I had to cease development of the mod, I'm preparing some exams for university, so I don't have much time. Anyway keep your eyes open and stay sharp

Sure, I'm studying to become an IT engineer, hard stuff I tell you.  Everything that involves engineering means that you have to study hard, and sometimes you also end up studying one or two or more disciplines which you dislike, and you often may feel worn-out.
