Do you mean widescreen? Wow, is that a can of worms...
Personally, lately, playing DFBHD is a 4:3 experience. I have an early version of NovaHQ's BHD widescreen mod, and it's a treat, but there are steps to get it working, and the gamma gets wonky, and it's not always worth the effort. And basically, I play to test modifications, and 1024×768 makes editing sight targas easier.
And NL's later stuff is widescreen capable, but they don't widen the horizontal field of view, they decreased the vertical field of view from 60° to 45°, so instead of seeing more to the left and right, you see less at the top and bottom. I find it claustrophobic, honestly.
I've seen a lot of videos on YouTube of BHD gameplay, and the video is 16:9, but the game is just stretched and squished to fit, and that's not acceptable.
NovaHQ have something going on as far as BHD widescreen is concerned, but I haven't been keeping up with it.
