I've had limited contact with Win7, but...

Is Win7 even being supported anymore?

Is the account you're using on the Win7 crate an administrator?

Other'n that, I'm all shrugs.

I can't update my Win 7 either, it says there are updates but just loops itself.
Microsoft must actually be calling Win 8.0 a program, what a joke. So we have Win 10 and Win 8.1 as operating systems and Win 7 gets dropped.

I think mine has 3 up-dates that's it lol,so I guess I'll have to settle with that,I went to http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/windows_hotfix_downloader.html and down loaded a stand alone program to get the latest up-dates but don't know how to install them lol. Any ideas on how to do that?

My Win7 computer just took all the updates and finally my laptop with Win10 took it's updates. Maybe windows will figure it out eventually and give you the updates.

I downloaded the update for win10 about 2 weeks ago, it looked to be a simple procedure, I just clicked start download. At 68% it stopped and displayed a window with "SOMETHING WENT WRONG" written in blue. I tried many times to download the update but i never got it to work.

I downloaded this Windows 10 update here - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
